While I get what you are saying, everyone is going to want to see what is on the other factions too. I hope this helps shed some light on the reasoning behind the broad coverage. This is also another major reason we want to expand into all the factions in an effort to bring a wide selection to the guild market. There is no auction houses, only guild markets, which only appear to be member accessable. To further our prestige to new or possible members we'll be specifying which campaigns which factions will be in to help not only broaden how many keeps and stragetic points we hold, but to also keep us from fighting each other. Unknown to myself prior to last beta test Cyrodiil is NOT one massive zone everyone on the server runs amuck in, but instead is broken down into 'Campaigns' These campaigns can only hold X amount of people from each faction, which i believe was added to keep the fight more fairly balanced.

now with the crown, the faction gains bonuses, but if one of our members holds the empireship, which is VERY brief, then we gain bonuses as a guild, and the bonuses to the faction are only for the faction in that campaign.

Regardless what faction of cotp holds a fort, we as a guild get the reward for holding that fort because CotP holds it. BUT the way everything is set up in this game is focused on guild play. I understand the very core of what Skjoldr is saying and how some could feel jaded they are not on the throne or what not. Just to clarify why we're in all three factions of ESO.
